You may remember NewjobZ and Skills NZ from previous articles on move2nz.
Over most of the time we have been battling to help get members their refunds we have had to be silent due to threats of a $500,000 lawsuit. However we came across many people who had lost money to these companies and referred them through to the Commerce Commission.
This lead to both companies going into liquidation earlier this year, however we thought that was the last anyone would see of their money.
Mike wanted me to point out an important point from the article tucked away at the bottom: if you are owed money you should urgently register as a creditor of the company for a small chance of getting something back.

You could apply to the Companies Office to have these people banned from being Directors in NZ. The liquidator should be chasing the directors personally for careless or reckless trading.

Hi, As i told you in my email this is ana alleged fraud that the NZ government is the first responsible for that dirthy work. because NewJobz Company has got the permission of the NZ government. In fact it seems there many persons involved such as the Christchurch mayor and espesially Mrs. Vusloo for illegal work that is really illegal to prepare this fraud. The Christchurch Police is informed of the work but we should have a group complaint from this company wiyhout being in NewZealand. Please contact me to try to find some other people like us. I just saw this forum today.. but honestly Ive been researching online on what happen to newjobz.com lead by stu mcann and Keith Lightfoot. I too get fooled also by this agency and never get the refund.. I paid the associate fee and the GOLD MEMBERSHIP fee which amounted to $3500 more or less I am not sure the exact because this happened in 2006.. I tried to forget about this nightmare and did try to move on.. I am glad that their company is closed now!! I am very happy ..at least they will not be able to fool people anymore.
I did submit also a fraud report to different agencies but with no luck.. I just told myself they will needed that money once they get prosecuted in Jail..
May they rest in peace forever.
I have been a victim of this fraud for the past 3 years, and I have been finding ways to convey my anguish and anger, when I found this site and find that so many other people have been victim to this fraud by NewjobZ.
I became a member in 2005 and waited patiently for more than a year and finally gave it up, cursing my fate that I lost nearly 1 lakh ruppes which 3000 NZ dollars. It is my hard earned money.
Could some one tell me what is happening regarding this whole scam and is some one trying to get some justice to all those who lost money?

I'm glad to read all of these things about Newjobz. I never thought it will end up this way,my family now is considering of using their services and i was so happy to see all the information about Newjobz for us to avoid being a victim. Anyway, I also became an associate member paying US297.00 plus the NZ 3000 fee back in Aug 2005 when Im still in the Philippines and hoping for a better future by means of migrating to NZ. I waited for almost a year and nothing happened, by April 2006 my family decided to retrieve and request for the refund, which by God's grace I got their refund although it's not the full amount but it's like 75% of what I paid was returned to me. I guess it's a blessing that we decided not to pursue NZ anymore, and true enough when God closes a door he opens a window. I'm now here in Australia with my family and enjoying His full blessings! I now understand why He did not allow my papers for NZ to be successful- it's becaus He's will for me is here in Australia and not in NZ.
To all those people who became victims of these agency I pray to God that may He bring justice to your family and may the desires of your heart be granted. Just trust in the Lord because He always has the best plans!
I am one of this fraud company, As a computer profession with about 20 years experiences i had to have good chance for employment but they ruined all my family dreams and wasted my times for more than 1 year.
These guys was sending me to pay more just when moved to new company and said it guarantees my success. I can attach all emails received if necessary

I am romanian. I am a victim of Newjobz, I lost 1000 euro in 2006, because they "failed" to find a job for me. I am veterinarian. I was very, very unhappy and very dissapointed at thet moment. I hope God will pay what they deserve.

I am Md.Nazmul Huda from Dhaka,Bangladesh.In 2004 i was also cheated my Keith Lightfoot and it was a disaster for my whole life which changes my life tract dramatically. Infact I managed this money to sold my mothers land and she sold it only for my bright future. It was beyond my imagination that i will be cheated my NZ government registered company. I had to paid NZD$297 for associate fee & NZD$2997 for member fee-my money and everything else-2years gone for nothing! After two years when I can realize that I am cheated I was about to mad and tried to forget it but I couldn’t. During 5 years i was looking for this fraud person.After 6 years later i can locate him due to only for you. Really many thanks to you.I think all the people are cheated by Keith lightfoot and Stu Macann in a same way. So it's the time we should think how can we raised our voice against Stu Macann and his associates unitedly.
